Convert currency using your exchange rate
Choose the source and target currency, enter the amount, and enter the rate for one unit of the source currency in the target currency. For example, if 1 USD equals 83.50 INR, enter 83.50 to convert dollars to rupees.
How to calculate a currency conversion
Converted amount equals source amount multiplied by the exchange rate. A conversion of 100 USD at an entered rate of 83.50 INR per USD gives 8,350 INR. The reverse conversion needs the reverse rate: 1 INR equals 1 divided by 83.50 USD.
Exchange rates and business pricing
This free currency converter does not fetch live exchange rates. Enter a current rate from a reliable source and check the date, provider, fees, spread, bank rate, and any payment-provider charge before using a result for a purchase, invoice, or price decision.
Use conversions alongside retail records
For stock sourced in another currency, keep the supplier cost and the exchange-rate basis used for your own records. Then review the converted cost with the markup calculator or profit margin calculator. These calculations do not determine tax, customs duties, landed cost, or profitability.
