Calculate a price from cost and markup
Enter the cost price and desired markup percentage to calculate the markup amount and a suggested selling price.
How the selling price calculation works
Markup amount equals cost multiplied by markup percentage divided by 100. Add that amount to cost to calculate the selling price. For example, cost of 800 with 25% markup produces a markup amount of 200 and a calculated price of 1,000.
The result is a calculation, not a recommended market price. Consider tax treatment, operating costs, discounts, competition, and other business factors before setting a price.
